Salamander Stoves: Designed for Tight Spaces. Built to Perform.

Salamander Stoves is a family run business based in the Devon countryside, specialising in high quality cast iron stoves for compact spaces. Founded in 2009 by Mark and Gill, the company draws on over 20 years of experience with antique and modern stoves. Each product is hand finished, fettled and inspected in their Devon workshop to ensure reliable, long lasting performance.

Identifying a gap in the market, Salamander Stoves developed a compact cast iron stove that delivers the efficiency and charm of larger wood burners without taking up excess space. This led to the creation of the Hobbit Stove: a 4.1kW, characterful and affordable model with a timeless design suited to a wide range of interiors.

Originally designed for small fireplaces to preserve Victorian and Edwardian features, the Hobbit Stove has grown in popularity alongside the small spaces movement. Today, it is widely used in a variety of unique and compact living environments.

Building on this success, the company introduced the Little Range Cookstove. With a 4.3kW output, it offers the same benefits as the Hobbit Stove, alongside added cooking functionality, including a spacious oven and stainless steel cooktop.

Salamander Stoves

Rather than expanding into a large catalogue, Salamander Stoves focuses on a refined, versatile range. Customers can personalise their stove with optional extras such as the extended hotplate, stand, brass fittings and coloured doors. All models can also include a 1kW side boiler for hot water, ideal for off-grid living.

Enhance your collection with their cast iron multi fuel stoves, offering customers a compact solution that delivers exceptional heat output and performance. Visit their stand G1 at The Trade Stove & Fireplace Professional Show.
