In 2019, David Ball (M.A.C) founded the Trade Stove & Fireplace Professional group with a clear vision: to unite the industry by breaking down barriers and avoiding the usual rivalries—creating a space where everyone stands as equals.

Six years later, in April 2025, group administrator Selina Brannan (M.A.C) carried that same vision forward by spearheading the creation of a UK-wide exhibition: the Trade Stove & Fireplace Professional Show.

Selina’s exceptional organisational skills have been instrumental in bringing this project to life. With her dedication—supported by the community and our partners—we are confident this event will be a resounding success.

In the early stages, we met with Erica Malkin (SIA), along with Emma Hatherall and Susan Wheeler (Fireplace Specialist Magazine), to gather their thoughts and explore potential partnerships. To our delight, they were just as enthusiastic as we were to collaborate on such a large-scale event.

And from there, the story began—history in the making.
